Aegasteroceras - cut and polished half - Rare

This beautiful ammonite has been fossilised in bright white calcite.  Front surface is polished flat, with several hollow chambers containing calcite crystals.  Chambers at the top are outlined in yellow.  Chambers at lower edge are less well defined.  Centre is dark brown/green.  Back is flattish but rough.  Measurements are approx: H 9.5 x W 11 x D 1 cm but thicker at the body chamber end.  Information card and plastic stand included.
