Clypeus Ploti on Matrix

This is a fossilised sea urchin, Clypeus Ploti on matrix.  Fossil measures approx H 12 x W 11 cm and is a dark sandy yellow. The back of the piece is matrix only and a flat base has been cut for ease of display. The width of the base is 10 cm. The fossil is from the Middle Jurassic Era (approx 170 million years ago) and was found at Stow on the Wold, Gloucestershire.
