A large vertebra measuring approx H 11 x W 11 x D 4 cm. From the Jurassic era and found iin the Kimmeridge Clay, Weymouth, Dorset. Concave both sides and plenty of detail.
The Ichthyosaurs were large marine reptiles, not unlike a dolphin. Average length was 2 - 4 m. They lived from approx 24- - 90 million years ago.
