Ichthyosaur Jaw Bone Bed

This is a piece of Ichthyosaur Jaw Bone Bed with some teeth prepped on one side and polished on the other. Specimen measures approx H 9.5 x W 11 x D 2 cm at the widest point. It was found in Lyme Regis and is Lower Jurassic, approx 200 million years old.
The Ichthyosaurs were large marine reptiles, not unlike a dolphin. Average length was 2 - 4 m. They lived from approx 24 - 90 million years ago.
