Fossil Wood from Lyme Regis - rare

This is a rare slice of Fossil Wood from Lyme Regis and is approx 200 million years old. It measures L 12.7 x W 11.5 cm x D 3mm-20mm at its thickest. The top surface has been polished to show the markings more clearly. There are naturally-formed crevices in the surface. The back of the slice is flat and smooth but unpolished.
