Baby Woolly Mammoth Tooth with roots

This is a fossilised baby mammoth tooth with roots - mammuthus primigenius. The longest of the roots is approx 10cm and the grinding surface of the tooth is L 9 x 5 cm at the widest part. This tooth was found at Brown Bank, North Sea, UK. It is from the Devensian, Pleistocene period - is approx 20,000 years old.
